8 bakerly Brioche hot dog buns
1 jar Rao’s pizza sauce, plus more for serving
Frontier Co-op Italian seasoning
8 oz. Rumiano Organic mozzarella cheese, shredded
4 oz. Applegate Uncured Pepperoni
Step 1
Split hot dog buns in half so you have 16 pieces.
Step 2
Using a spoon, spoon some of your pizza sauce over the bread pieces, spreading out to cover the surface. Repeat until all are sauced.
Step 3
Sprinkle a pinch of Italian seasoning over the sauce on each bun.
Step 4
Sprinkle some of your mozzarella cheese over that.
Step 5
Slice your pepperoni into strips and place two strips lengthwise down the middle, add 6 strips across that to create a football.
Step 6
Place on a baking sheet. Broil until cheese is melty, about 4-5 minutes.
Step 7
Enjoy with more sauce for dipping.
