We all grow up one day, but we don’t have to stop playing with our food—at least when it comes to these sugar cookies!
1 cup Tillamook unsalted butter
1 ½ cups Wholesome granulated sugar
Zest from 1 organic lemon
2 Farmers Hen House eggs
1 ½ tsp. Frontier Co-Op vanilla
4 cups War Eagle all-purpose flour
½ tsp. kosher salt
Step 1
In a mixer, add your butter and sugar, mix until creamy.
Step 2
Add in your eggs one at a time followed by the vanilla.
Step 3
Add in flour, mix thoroughly. Scrapping the bowl as needed.
Step 4
Form into a disc and wrap with plastic wrap. Place in the fridge overnight.
Step 5
The next day, remove the dough from the fridge and let them temper for an hour or until you can roll them out easily.
Step 6
Roll out and cut into shapes of choice, reroll any scrapes.
Step 7
Bake at 325 for 12 minutes and cool.
